FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: reading device with time delay and accumulation of signals from multi-element infrared photodetectors has a multichannel reading system consisting of m reading channels, three decoders with n cells, a shift register with m cells, a common bus for writing information on defective elements and a common output bus. The reading channel is made from a reading unit with n reading cells, a unit for storage and summation of time delay and accumulation (TDA) signals with n cells for storage and summation of TAD signals, a unit for writing and storing information on defective elements with n cells for writing and storing information on defective elements, two MIS transistors, corresponding to the channel of the m-th cell of the shift register, a photoelectric signal bus, first and second buses for information on defective elements, a TAD signal bus, where n is the number of TAD stages. In versions of the device, the reading cell includes an input unit and a MIS transistor.
EFFECT: eliminating limitations on the level of sensitivity of the photodetector and wider dynamic range.
