FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method includes reaction of alkaline earth metal chloride with at least one precursor of tungsten or molybdenum, selected from tungsten oxides, molybdenum oxides, tungstates and molybdates. Reaction is carried out in solvent, consisting of KCL or of LiCl-KCl mixture at temperature at least equal to temperature of said solvent melting.
EFFECT: ensuring synthesis of tungstates and molybdates of alkaline earth metals, extraction of alkaline earth metals from media, where they are present in form of chlorides, extraction of cleavage products in form of compounds of alkaline earth metals from salt flux within the framework of irradiated nuclear fuel recycling in the medium of melted chlorides.
