SUBSTANCE: invention relates to novel 1,1'-diaryl-3'-aroyl-4'-hydroxy-1H-spiro[indeno[1,2-b]pyrrol-3,2,-pyrrol]-2,4,5'(1'H)-triones of formula:

where a: Ar stands for 4-MeC6H4, X stands for H, Y stands for H; b Ar stands for 4-Me2C6H3, X stands for Me, Y stands for H; c Ar stands for 4-Me2C6H3, X stands for H, Y stands for H; d: Ar stands for Ph, X stands for H, Y stands for H; e: Ar stands for Ph, X stands for CI, Y stands for Me; f: Ar stands for Ph, X stands for Br, Y stands for Me; g: Ar stands for Ph, X stands for CI, Y stands for OMe, which demonstrate analgesic activity. Compounds are obtained by interaction of 1-aryl-4-aroyl-5-methoxycarbonyl-1H-pyrrol-2,3-dione with 3-amino-1H-inden-1-on in medium of inert aprotic solvent at temperature 110-112°C with further separation of target products.
