FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: manufacturing method of a balloon having various thickness of walls is described. The above method involves use of an initial tube from thermoplastic polymer, pre-heating of initial tube in asymmetric shape to the temperature sufficient for softening of the tube material. Then, the tube is drawn and inflated with compressed gas to stretch the tube material until it touches the heated wall of the mould. Besides, the tube is provided with possibility of being shrunk. After that, the finished balloon is cooled and removed from the mould.
EFFECT: creation of the balloon design that is more stable in trachea and at the same time thinner and more deformable.
