FIELD: fire-prevention facilities.
SUBSTANCE: in a radioelectronic unit (REU) the printed boards are located at certain distances from each other and from the REU housing walls, in the area of location of the elements which are combustible in the free state (transformers, etc.) a set of vertically and horizontally placed flame suppressing plates are located, which are spaced at certain distances from each other, with metal mesh with certain characteristics the fire-protective cavities are created for placement of REU elements combustible in the free state, a radio-electronic unit is equipped with the system of ventilation shutdown.
EFFECT: increased safety of operation of vented radio-electronic units due to purposeful arrangement of the inner REU cavity, in which after a forced or spontaneous shutdown of ventilation the possibility of combustion of structural non-metallic materials used in REU is excluded.
