FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a rotary kiln for burning cement clinker. Furnace comprises horizontally installed housing, resting on support rollers via bandages, double drive consisting of two electric motors and two reduction gears, two under-wheel gears, one rim wheel, feed pipe for slurry supply for preparation of cement clinker, head for supply of fuel and air into furnace, chain filter-heater, heat exchangers, grate-pusher refrigerator, water cooling plant and central lubrication system. Body is made with intermittent, zigzag-shaped broken worm lines along its perimeter, with rectangular cross flow passage and is mounted from sections consisting of large and small rectangles and two identical trapezoids, lower bases of which are equal to lateral side of large rectangle, and upper bases are equal to lateral side of small rectangle, wherein sides of trapezoids are equal to other two sides of large and small rectangles with formation on ends of sections of squares, inclined in different sides to axis section, at that, square of every next section is turned relative to square of previous section by angle corresponding to section turn to its one side so that sections axes are intersecting straight lines and are located at angle not only to each other, but also to axis of casing rotation.

EFFECT: simplified manufacturing, increased efficiency and technological capabilities in rotary furnace for preparation of cement clinker.
