FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed controller comprises camshaft-to-crankshaft phase shift mechanism. It has guide groove locked from rotation relative to camshaft. It also has guided part to engage with or disengage from said guide groove. It has also working part shifting axially toward camshaft due to axial shift between guide groove and guided part. It incorporates mechanism to vary valve working performances with respect to camshaft turn angle via working part shift. It incorporates also the actuator to receive input command signal to actuate guided part to engage it with guide groove. Besides, controller comprises crankshaft position and rotation phase shift computation unit. It comprises command processing unit to input command signal to actuator in alteration of valve characteristics and to determine time registration of inputting said command signal to actuator on the basis of crankshaft angular position. It incorporates processing signal time registration correction unit proceeding from phase shift between camshaft and crankshaft rotation.
EFFECT: smooth variation of valve operating performances.
