FIELD: internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the internal combustion engines. Disclosed is a method for actuated by camshaft torque cams change of gas distribution phases. In response to phase adjustment command of camshaft camshaft-actuated phase changes of gas distribution to changeover from locked position - discontinuous movement of slide valve from stop area beyond zero area, uniform movement of slide valve through zero area with control of gas distribution phases movement from locked position. Disclosed are a method for actuated by camshaft torque cams change of gas distribution phases and engine system.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of reliability and accuracy of operation of camshaft timing changes actuated by torque of the phase changer cams.
