SUBSTANCE: preoperatively and 3 days after the operation, patient's neutrophils are examined for activity of myeloperoxidase (MPO) and the concentration of lysosomal cationic protein (LCPs). When preoperative MPO activity is below 1.0 standard unit and does not increase postoperatively, while the preoperative LCP concentration is less than 2.0 standard units, the risk of early postoperative complications following the coronary artery bypass surgery.
EFFECT: reducing the length and improving the accuracy of prediction.
