FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medical equipment. An ablation catheter system with a cylinder comprises a rod for an ablation catheter. Said rod is formed by one tube and comprises two cavities connected over a distal end to a proximal end. The first cavity is designed so that a conductor flows through it. The second cavity is designed so that it feeds heated liquid into the above cylinder with the mentioned fluid being oscillated and mixed by a mix generator. The value (La/Li) derived from dividing the cross-section length (La) of the periphery of the fluid cavity form perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of one tube on the length (Li) of a circumference of an area equal to that of a section peripherally surrounding the fluid cavity, makes 1-2.3, and the cross-section area of a section surrounding the fluid cavity along the periphery of the fluid cavity form perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the rod for the ablation catheter with the cylinder, is 2.0-4.5 mm2.
EFFECT: use of the group of inventions enables more effective mixing of the heated fluid fed into catheter cylinder that ensures a uniform temperature distribution on the cylinder surface and increases the therapeutic safety ensured by preventing the air conservation in the catheter.
