FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nanotechnologies, particularly, to production of powder preparations of plasmon-resonance particles to be used in various branches of science and engineering. Proposed method comprises preparing dispersion of nanoparticles in solvent, reducing metals from salts, applying coat of stabilising water-soluble polymer on the surface of nanoparticles by adding it to said dispersion, centrifuging produced dispersion, freezing it with the help of liquefied gas and sublimating aforesaid solvent unless metal powder is obtained.
EFFECT: nanopowders of noble metals consisting of nanoparticles of whatever sizes and shapes other than spherical.
