FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: treated part is arranged in a vacuum chamber of the plant containing a plasma source with an incandescent cathode and two electric arc evaporators in the form of cathodes from aluminium and titanium, which are located in one plane opposite each other. Ionic cleaning of the part surface with the plasma source with the incandescent cathode and ionic cleaning with the electric arc evaporator in inert gas medium is performed at heating of the surface to the temperature of 300-350°C. Titanium underlayer is applied to surface of the part by means of a titanium cathode. A layer on the basis of intermetallic compound nitride of Ti-Al system is applied by means of two cathodes. A layer on the basis of intermetallic compound of Ti-Al system is applied by means of two cathodes. Application of the coating layers is performed at assistance with the plasma source with the incandescent cathode. At application of the layer based on intermetallic compound, the change of its phase composition is performed by changing the position of the treated part in the vacuum chamber.

EFFECT: improving homogeneity of the coating composition.
