FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, in particular, dentistry, and is intended for replacement of lower jaw defects, developed after surgery, for elimination of consequences of traumas, inflammatory diseases, or aimed at ablation of tumours and tumour-like formations and endoprosthetics of condylar process of lower jaw. Implant for replacement of lower jaw defects consists of jaw part, made from carbon composite material and joint part, made from titanium alloy. Joint part consists of neck and joint head, replacing neck and head of condylar process of lower jaw, and connecting rod. Jaw part has opening for connecting rod and is immovably connected with joint part by means of sintering with application of nanostructured titanium.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of treatment due to reconstruction of temporomandibular joint, prevention of post-operative complications, biocompatibility of tissues, possibility of individual production of implants, reduction of treatment terms, absence of necessity to remove implant, increase chewing efficiency and recovery of esthetic parameters of face, which ensures improvement of patient's health and life quality.
