FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: gas-discharge reflector lamp contains burner and smooth reflector, mounted on current leads in round-symmetrical bulb, at least half of which inner surface is covered with reflecting layer, so that the plane passing through its longitudinal edges is parallel to burner axis, which is shifted from bulb axis to reflecting layer. Burner axis is located on plane passing through bulb axis, which crosses the plane passing through longitudinal edges of reflecting layer at an angle α within 10°÷25°, burner axis is located at distance H from bulb axis, which is 1.5÷3.2 of burner diameter d, and flat smooth reflector in the form of a strip is located between plane passing through longitudinal edges of reflecting layer and the plane parallel to it passing through burner axis; the nearest longitudinal edge of reflector is located at distance h from bulb axis, which is 2.4÷4.0 d; burner and reflector are arranged relative to bulb axis to opposite edges of reflecting layer.
EFFECT: increasing uniformity and level of illumination provided by gas-discharge reflector lamps.
