FIELD: basic electric elements.
SUBSTANCE: discharge lamp meant for starting by a pulse starting device having the following parameters: pulse time at a level not less than 1250 V - not less than 2.0 mcs, energy per pulse - not less than 0.001 J. The lamp has a current-conductive mirror coating applied to the inner surface in the central part of its external bulb and a current-conductive coating applied from at least one evaporated getter to the inner surface at the neck of its external bulb, and it is equipped with electrodes arranged inside its burner made of an optically transparent material, for maintaining a discharge arc. The mentioned electrodes are sinter electrodes representing a tungsten rod covered with sintered activated material. The current-conductive mirror coating and the coating of at least one evaporated getter should not intercross, and the distance between them should be within a length range from 2.0 mm to 9.0 mm.
EFFECT: yield enhancement in the manufacturing of lamps and their longer service life.
