FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine and can be applied in anthropometric research in otolaryngology, neurosurgery, ophthalmology and dentistry. Method consists in obtaining three-dimensional tomographic image of examined skull, determination of lower edge of left orbit and upper points of external edges of auditory pore, automatic building of Frankfurt plane by given points. Additionally frontal plane perpendicular to Frankfurt plane is drawn through upper points of external edges of auditory pores. After that, sagittal plane is drawn through the middle of nasofrontal suture perpendicular to frontal plane. After this, required parameters are determined relative to built planes.
EFFECT: application of claimed invention makes it possible to provide possibility of carrying out massive lifetime craniometrical examination, including ethnographic differences of skulls.
