FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: millimetre-range monolithic integrated circuit, which is made on a semi-insulating substrate and has coplanar energy input and output lines, is characterised by that the metal coating of the coplanar lines protrudes beyond the chip. When assembling the monolithic integrated circuit, the metal coating which protrudes beyond the chip is superimposed on the metal coating of coplanar lines and said metal coatings are connected. A the input and output of the circuit, there are maximally matched adapters from one line to the other. This design enables to measure microwave parameters of the monolithic circuits formed on a wafer before dividing into chips, wherein measurement results will match data for the chip mounted in a device.
EFFECT: invention enables to eliminate change in parameters of a monolithic circuit, having coplanar transmission lines at the input and output, when assembling and simplifies the process of assembling the chip itself.
