FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology of concentrating weak solutions of alkali metals hypochlorides from water solutions and can be applied for disinfection of sewages, bleaching of cellulose, paper and tissue, disinfecting processing premises of cattle-breeding complexes, etc. Method of concentrating weak solution of electrolytic sodium hypochloride includes freezing solution at temperature from -16° to -18°C and following defrosting in the range of temperatures from 20° to 65°C until sodium hypochloride solution with specified concentration is obtained. Solution of electrolytic sodium hypochloride contains sodium chloride and sodium hypochloride with weight ratio from 1.2:1 to 1.9:1. Solution of sodium hypochloride formed after defrosting is applied as salt solution for obtaining primary solution of sodium hypochloride.
EFFECT: invention ensures wasteless technology of concentrating sodium hypochloride water solution with reduction of electric power consumption.
