FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: aluminium-diamond composite material in the form of plate consists of composite section, which includes diamond grains and aluminium alloy, and surface layers formed on both sides of composite section. Surface layers consist of material containing metal, mostly aluminium, in quantity of 80 vol. %. Content of diamond particles in the composite is 40-70 vol. % of the whole aluminium-diamond composite material.
EFFECT: composite material has high thermal conductivity and expansion coefficient close to the same characteristics of semiconductor elements and a plain surface with low unevenness.
