FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: copper-based binder contains tin and mechanically alloyed granules, including aluminum and carbon, at the following ratio of initial components, wt %: tin 5.0-8.0; aluminium 0.9-2.8; carbon 0.4-0.8; the rest is copper.
EFFECT: achievement of balanced chemical composition, structure, physical-mechanical and performance properties with high properties, which makes it possible to use diamond tool for grinding hard-alloy articles under conditions of limited cooling of working zone and under its absence.
