FIELD: biotechnologies.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used for detection of D-amino acids in complex specimen and in processes of fermentative synthesis of optically active substances, alpha-keto acids, cephalosporin antibiotics and other organic compounds using oxidases. New mutant forms of oxidase of D-amino acids from Trigonopsis variabilis yeast were obtained. As initial ferment, mutant oxidase of D-amino acids from Trigonopsis variabilis yeast was used with replacement of Cys108Phe. Proposed new mutant forms differ by the fact, that amino-acid residue of phenylalanine in position corresponding to position 54 in sequence of abovementioned oxidase of D-amino acids is replaced by one of the following residues - tyrosine or serine.
EFFECT: invention allows obtaining mutant oxidases of D-amino acids, characterised by better catalytic properties as compared to initial mutant and corresponding wild-type enzyme.
