METHOD FOR PREDICTION OF PERSISTENCE OF ONCOGENIC HUMAN PAPILLOMA VIRUS IN CERVICAL EPITHELIUM Russian patent published in 2014 - IPC G01N33/53 A61B10/02

Abstract RU 2520710 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: to construct a mathematical model using a binary logistic regression, the most informative immunological values of cervical mucus in females suffering from genital papilloma virus infection are recovered. Calculating diagnostic coefficients results in presenting a logistic regression model: logit (P)=-1.2352+(17.8125)×IgA of cervical mucus (g/l)+(-0.0012)×IFN-α of cervical mucus (pg/ml) to calculate P1/1+e-logit(P), wherein e is a constant equal to 2.718281828. Using the presented formulas means a formal substitution of a patient's immunological values, and a calculation of a probability of assigning the patient to a risk group. If P<0.5, the patient shall be assigned to the group 0 that means no risk of developing persistence of human papilloma virus in the cervical epithelium; if P≥0.5 - to the group 1 that is a risk of developing persistence of human papilloma virus in the cervical epithelium.

EFFECT: using the presented method enables high accuracy determination of the risk of developing persistence of human papilloma virus in the cervical epithelium.
