FIELD: instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: differential massive thin film calorimeter is claimed to determine the thermal effects of adsorption or chemical reactions of gases, comprising thin film catalytically active measuring working masses and reference masses, placed on a dielectric substrate and connected to the source of the current heating the masses. In accordance with the invention, the masses with their surface are adjacent to the dielectric substrate, on which opposite side of the masses the piezoelectric transducers are secured, connected with their electrodes to the measuring circuit. The source of the heating current is pulse.
EFFECT: increased sensitivity of the calorimeter.
