SUBSTANCE: recuperative soaking pit consists of a chamber made in the form of a rectangular parallelepiped, which is restricted with lined walls, a bottom and is equipped with a moving cover. A burner is arranged on the front wall of the chamber in its upper part, and an additional burner is located on the rear wall of the chamber in its lower part at the distance from the bottom, which is equal to 0.25-0.30 of height of the wall that is oriented parallel to the upper burner; with that, at the bottom there are two air supply holes equally spaced from front and rear walls to the distance equal to 0.33 of length of the chamber.

EFFECT: improvement of a heating system.
