FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for heating metal ingots prior to rolling. Recuperative heating well comprises chamber made in the form of rectangular parallelepiped, limited by lined walls, furnace bottom and moving cover, burners located on frontal and right from front side walls. Chamber is additionally equipped with burners installed on the left from the front side wall, besides, each burner is installed on the common axis with the burner located on the right on the right from the front side wall.
EFFECT: reduced time of ingot heating in the furnace, increased efficiency, reduced fuel consumption due to reduced time of ingot ingress in the furnace.
