SUBSTANCE: regenerative soaking pit consists of chamber made in the form of rectangular parallelepiped, which is restricted with lined walls, and is equipped with moving cover and units of regenerators. According to the invention, the chamber includes two burners oriented opposite each other and located on one horizontal axis in upper part on front and rear walls above units of regenerators. At that, burners are installed at some distance from the cover, which is equal to 0.20 - 0.25 of the wall height.
