FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: aspiration irrigation apparatus for ocular surgeries comprises an instrument in the form of co-axial external and internal tubes one inside the other, a pump, a collection cup, a pinch tube valve and a back-flow valve, a pressure valve, an atmospheric throttle, a control unit connected to the pump, a pinch tube valve, and a pressure sensor; there are also provided connecting tubes one of which is an extension of the external tube of the instrument and connects it to a physiologic solution tank, and it comprises the pinch tube valve. The collection cup is presented with a container open to the atmosphere; and the pump is a flexible-hose pump. The internal tube of the instrument is connected to the collection cup through the flexible-hose pump. The internal tube of the instrument is also connected to the tube at the end of which there are the back-flow valve and the atmospheric throttle. A tube junction is provided between the instrument and the pump.
EFFECT: reduced pressure pulsation in an aspiration canal.
