FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: thermal engine rotation frequency is set, position of fuel supply batching device of thermal engine rotation frequency and load adjuster is measured, position of fuel supply batching device of rotation frequency and load adjuster is set proportionally to preset rotation frequency, this position is compared with measured position of fuel supply batching device of rotation frequency and load adjuster, amount of their discrepancy is integrated over time. Integration result is accepted as setpoint for direct current traction generator voltage. Direct current traction generator voltage is measured, the voltage is compared with setpoint value, and direct current traction generator excitation current is changed according to amount of discrepancy. The preset position of fuel supply batching device of thermal engine rotation frequency and load adjuster is additionally corrected proportionally to fuel temperature at thermal engine input.
EFFECT: higher fuel efficiency and performance of diesel locomotives.
