FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: ophthalmomicrosurgical instrument comprises a body with an irrigation hole. An end surface of the distal portion of the body is provided with at least three supports symmetrical in relation to a long axis. Two of them are situated at equal acute angles to each other, while the third one is found in a plane perpendicular to the plane of the other two supports at an acute angle to the long symmetry line of the body. The distal portion comprises two diametrically opposite irrigation holes.
EFFECT: using the given instrument enables recovering anatomic-topographic correlations of the anterior segment, provides visualising difficult eye structures with continuous irrigation in anterior vitrectomy, reducing the tissue damages of the internal eye structures, increases the eyeball conservation.
