FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of ophthalmological surgery. Device for irrigation contains hollow case and hollow envelope, formed by two prominent segments of triaxial ellipsoid: first internal segment of triaxial ellipsoid surface is facing with concavity the case side and is connected with it. First segment has an hole, connected with case, whose centre is located on longitudinal axis of case symmetry. Second external segment of triaxial ellipsoid surface is congruous to internal surface of eyeball with its concavity facing outside. Both segments have the same sign of curvature, are coaxial to each other and to longitudinal axis of case symmetry. Envelope cavity narrows from the centre to periphery. Peripheral edges of envelope are made disconnected, forming nozzle of ellipsoidal form, directed to the side, opposite to external surface of second segment. In the first internal segment of triaxial ellipsoid additionally made are, at least, six holes, whose axes of symmetry are directed to longitudinal axis of device at acute, unequal to each other angles. Four of these holes are located in pairs on larger axis of symmetry of triaxial ellipsoid segment, on both sides from the center. Two holes are located along small axis of symmetry of the same segment, at equal distance from the centre. All eight holes are made in form of truncated cone, whose smaller base is directed inside the case, angle of opening of each conical hole lies in the interval from 20 to 40 degrees.

EFFECT: invention reduces trauma of tissues of internal eye structures, increases organ preservation and functions of eyeball.
