FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: combination of physiological and hygienic, organisational, sanitary-technical and medical actions which involve observing the periodic medical inspection regulations; competency of the workers occupied in the occupational noise environment. Follow-up care groups are formed, and occupational hearing loss is prevented, and the workers suffering hearing loss and a risk of developing occupational bilateral sensorineural hearing loss are rehabilitated. The workers are divided into the follow-up groups taking into account an actual noise level, work experience, any signs of a noise exposure on acoustic organs, a degree of occupational and non-occupational hearing loss, results of the assessment of competency and the assessment of disease relation to an occupation, any comorbid circulatory disease, results of medical and social assessment for determine a disability category.

EFFECT: method enables prolonging a transition from one degree of hearing loss to more evident one in the workers occupied in the noise environment exceeding a noise exposure limit of 80 dBA that enables prolonging worker's occupational longevity by determining risk factors of the developing occupational diseases.
