FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. Lead melt strip is cast in continuous casting device including intermediate teeming device with graphite tip and fused lead melt pool. Fused lead melt is continuously fed into said pool. To get required depth of strip depth, fused lead surface level is controlled in said tip. Lead alloy temperature in said tip is kept equal to 640° - 750°F. Casting surface with coarse structure is displaced through said pool by spinning the drum for deposition of lead allot thereon. Lead alloy strip is hardened by cooling the drum casting surface to remove from said casting surface.
EFFECT: lead allot strip suitable for fabrication of electrodes.
