FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves an electrical myostimulation of an anal sphincter by inserting a NeuroTrac ETS 0120 rectal electrode having a maximum current amplitude of 80 mA. That is combined with an electric current exposure through adhesive skin electrodes. The electrodes are applied on the perianal region on the right and left of the anus at the boundary with an anorectal line. The patient is exposed to the current having an amplitude of 30 to 80 mA with a 20mA cascade hopping increase of the current amplitude starting from the value of 30mA. The length of exposure is 30 minutes. The therapeutic course is 15 sessions.
EFFECT: prolonging the therapeutic effect more than 12 months, improving the patient's quality of life.
