FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: insulating composition includes mastic, containing heavy oil fraction, absorbent and oxidiser. Composition additionally contains heavy oil fraction and ash microspheres, taken in ratio, wt %: heavy oil fraction 42.5-45, mastic 42.5-45, ash microspheres 10-15. Mastic components are taken in the following ratio, wt %: heavy oil fraction 73-92, absorbent 3.5-20, oxidiser 5-9.
EFFECT: obtaining insulation composition with improved physic-chemical and exploitation characteristics, such as adhesion to steel surface, softening point by ring and ball, penetration.
