FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: turbo-supercharged internal combustion engine with recirculation of exhaust gases includes many cylinders (14a-14e) with inlet and outlet holes that are connected to inlet header (24) and outlet header (26) respectively. The engine includes plenum air turbo-supercharger (28), which has turbine (32) and plenum air compressor (30). Turbine (32) inlet (42) is connected to outlet header (26); turbine (32) outlet (44) is connected to atmosphere. Compressor (30) inlet (36) is connected to atmosphere; compressor (30) outlet (38) is connected to inlet header (24). The engine is equipped with exhaust gas turbo-supercharger (46) having compressor (48), the inlet of which is intended to supply exhaust gases to it from the outlet header and the outlet of which is connected to inlet header (24). Inlet header (24) is separated with a division wall into a plenum air duct and an exhaust gas duct. One of those ducts is connected to inlet holes of cylinders (14a-14e). The plenum air duct is connected to compressor (30) outlet (38) of turbo-supercharger (28). The exhaust gas duct is connected to compressor (48) outlet (68) of turbo-supercharger (46). The division wall has throttle holes attaching two above said ducts. The invention describes a version of design of a turbo-supercharged internal combustion engine with recirculation of exhaust gases and a control method of functioning of the internal combustion engine.
EFFECT: reducing the scope of installation work and simplifying the design.
