FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method of producing indium (III) halodialkoxides of general formula InX(OR)2, where X=F, Cl, Br, I and R=alkyl residue, alkyloxyalkyl residue. The method includes reacting a composition (A) comprising an indium trihalide InX3, where X=F, Cl, Br and/or I, and at least one alcohol of general formula ROH, where R=alkyl residue, alkyloxyalkyl residue, with at least one secondary amine of general formula R'2NH, where R′=alkyl residue.
EFFECT: invention reduces content of chlorine in the end product.
