SUBSTANCE: device is a two-channel microwave detecting receiver fitted with two vertical whip antennae, single-type diode detectors with doubled output voltage, single-type operational amplifiers with a negative feedback circuit in the form of a constant resistor and a circuit for stabilising the operating mode of the amplifiers in the form of a constant resistor, as well an output voltage comparing circuit comprising a current meter, variable resistors, a switch for switching the "detection" and "search" operating modes of the meter and a pointer for directing towards the radiation source.

EFFECT: wider operating bandwidth, high sensitivity and reduced measurement errors of the direction towards a radiation source.
