FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: preliminary root canal therapy is conducted. A root canal cavity is formed. Broken walls of root and neck sections are restored 2-3 mm above the gum. A reinforced mesh metal composite (MMC) prosthetic denture is fixed in the root canal. The reinforced mesh metal composite prosthetic denture is made with using laboratory procedure; stone models are used to form a flexible crown-root moulding brad and a reinforcing crown-root frame; the moulding brad is assembled and fixed on an inner surface of the frame that is followed by forming the composite walls of the crown portion in accordance with the anatomical features of the restored tooth. At the end of residual polymerisation contraction of the composite material, the whole surface of the composite walls of the crown of the prosthetic denture to be retained in the root canal with cement coating the root section of the moulding brad and the root section of the crown-root frame.
EFFECT: by avoiding the appearance of residual polymerisation contraction of the composite material potentially accompanying the manufacture of the MMC prosthetic denture, the method provides higher quality of grinding and polishing the crown portion of the prosthetic denture, ensuring higher strength and durability of the restored tooth.
