FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: solid-state laser comprises an active element and a pumping lamp mounted in an illuminator, having a holder, as well as a cavity formed by totally reflecting and semitransparent mirrors. The illuminator is monolithic and is made of a highly reflective material and has two internal chambers, wherein one internal chamber is fitted with an active element and a pumping lamp and the other is fitted with a totally reflecting mirror opposite one of the ends of the active element. Both internal chambers are closed with sealing covers, wherein the semitransparent mirror of the cavity is mounted in the opening of one of the covers opposite the second end of the active element. Leads of the lamp come out of the cover through pressure seals.
EFFECT: reducing the size and weight of the solid-state laser without deterioration of energy characteristics thereof while improving service durability.
