FIELD: measurement.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric measuring equipment and is intended to determine points of damage of power transmission lines with multi-purpose power supply by results of measurement of its voltages and currents along the line ends. Method for determining point of damage of power transmission line by fixing moment of damage, measurement of voltages and currents of main harmonic of emergency and pre-emergency modes, extraction of emergency components of measured voltages and currents, conversion of measured values and their emergency components using line models to voltage and current of places of supposed damage, currents and voltages observed at the branches of the circuit of the multilaterally powered line using line branch models are recalculated to their expected values in the circuit node, according to the calculation results, the damaged branch is selected, and the rest part of the circuit is equivalent relative to it, then the point of damage is determined by the model of the obtained line. According to the invention, the power transmission line diagram is equivalent to its damaged branch, by different versions, currents and voltages are fixed, as well as their emergency components are selected not only for the moment of damage, but also for the moments of subsequent unsuccessful automatic and non-automatic repeated inclusions, the distance to the damage point is determined from the model of the obtained line for each version of equivalence and reclosure, specifying specific parameters of damaged branch taking into account of power transmission line passport data and set of obtained distances to point of damage, determining point of damage by model of obtained line and refined specific parameters of damaged branch.
EFFECT: technical result when implementing the declared solution is higher accuracy of the fault location on the power transmission line with multi-purpose power supply due to specification of specific parameters of the damaged branch.
