SUBSTANCE: magnesium dichloride in mixture with melted chlorides of alkali and alkali-earth metals is subjected to restoration in reactor filled with inert gas, at temperature 670-720°C, total pressure of gas phase 1 atm, partial pressure of silicon chlorides in gas mixture 0.01-0.001 atm, and weight ratio of initial magnesium and silicon dichloride 6.78:1.00.
EFFECT: restored magnesium removal from reactor in liquid form, and removal of produced tetrochlorsilane from the reactor in the inert gas flow.
