FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an instant tea beverage composition, in particular, to obtainment of instant tea beverage by way of preparation using water as well as to a method for the composition production and usage. The composition essentially contains no sucrose and is in the form of a granulate and/or agglomerate; the composition contains (a) a combination of isomaltulose with at least one sugar other than sucrose and/or with at least one sugar substitute as a granulate- and/or agglomerate-forming element and (b) at least one flavouring and/or taste substance.
EFFECT: invention allows to obtain non-cariogenic, reduced caloric content products with excellent organoleptic properties, optimal sweetness, high mechanical stability during storage, improved solubility and flowability, improved capacity for capturing or absorption of flavouring or taste components.
