FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in turbocharged internal combustion engines. Operating method of engine (10) with a turbocharger consists in control of operation of engine (10) depending on turbine (164) of the turbocharger, which exceeds the limit of the turbine expansion degree. The limit of the expansion degree of turbine (164) changes depending on velocity of exhaust gas flow. The invention describes a version of implementation of an engine operating method.
EFFECT: reduction of probability of operation of a turbine of a turbocharger when the turbine exceeds the expansion degree limit.
