FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to continuous metal casting. This mould comprises body with heat pipe, condenser (5) connected via steam lines (4) and condensate lines with said heat pipe to make the closed evaporation-condensation circuit and casing (7) with two hatches. Heat carrier is poured in closed space between pipes (2) and (3) and heated by electrical heaters (10). Preset temperature recorded by thermocouples (11-14) reached, said heaters are switched off. Liquid metal is filled in pipe (3). Steam produced at heating of heat carrier is fed via steam lines to condenser to be cooled by water fed in between condenser and casing. This process allows efficient metal cooling and yield.
EFFECT: higher quality.
