FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry. Particularly, it relates to method of control over the device for torque distribution between vehicle front and rear axles. Said device comprises electromechanical drive for distribution of torque between said axles, drive electronic control unit, control unit power supply, ignition and engine outage signal pickups and those of air temperature. Electronic control unit selects active mode and standby mode. Transition from active mode to standby mode is performed in response to control unit signal if the engine is stopped and if calculated drive temperature is lower than or equals the preset temperature threshold.
EFFECT: enhanced operating performances.
