FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a super-hydrophobic coating composition used in construction and intended for protecting building structures, building facades, vehicles, equipment component parts, clothes, household ceramics and other hard or soft surfaces from wetting by water. The coating composition contains, wt %: styrene-acrylic resin Neocryl B-880 0.7, hydrophobic pyrogenic silicon oxide Aerosil R972 2, methyl acetate 97.3.
EFFECT: providing a super-hydrophobic coating having high adhesion to metal surfaces, UV resistance of the coating and anti-corrosion properties of the coating.
