FIELD: instrumentation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the method of measurement of capacitance of the capacitance sensor (C). The sensor has a working electrode coated with isolating layer and a ligand forming an affine surface. The method contains the steps of contacting of the electrode with analyte, supply of the first direct current (I1), the second direct current (I2) of opposite direction with reference to the first current (I1) and the third direct current (I3) of the direction, same with the first current (I1), to the sensor during the pre-set time periods. Then the method contains measurements of the potential (V) created on the sensor, and calculation of capacitance of the sensor by the slope (B, D, F, H) of the curve of potentials obtained in response to supply of current. Besides, the invention relates to use of the offered method for detection of interaction between ligand and analyte.

EFFECT: invention provides improved method of measurement of changes of capacitance using the biosensor, and more stable system of measurement of biosensor capacitance for improvement of sensitivity and accuracy.
