FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: gearbox contains casing (1) and arch cylindrical gearing comprising small (2) and large (3) tooth-wheels. Wheel teeth have arch longitudinal lines and evolvent transverse sections. Input (4) and output (5) shafts are inserted in the bearing supports of the gearbox parallel to each other. Small tooth-wheel (2) is installed on the output shaft (4), installed in bearing assemblies (6, 8) without possibility of movement in the axial direction. Large tooth-wheel (3) is installed on the output shaft (5), installed in bearing assemblies (7, 9) without possibility of movement in the axial direction relatively to the casing. At the beginning of the gearbox operation the large tooth-wheel (3) due to its movement with shaft (5) in axial direction is self-installed relatively to the small tooth-wheel (2).
EFFECT: load in arch gearing is transmitted by entire width of the toothed rim, thus increasing loading capacity and durability of the gearbox operation, besides, requirements for manufacturing accuracy and installation of the bearing assemblies, bearings, shafts and tooth-wheels are reduced.
