FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: gearbox contains casing (1) and arch cylindrical gearing comprising small (2) and large (3) tooth-wheels. Wheel teeth have arch longitudinal lines and evolvent transverse sections. Input (4) and output (5) shafts are inserted in the gearbox in the bearing supports parallel to each other. Small tooth-wheel (2) is installed on the output shaft (4) without possibility of movement in the axial direction. Large tooth-wheel (3) is connected with output shaft (5) by means of the detachable connection permitting the wheel movement in axial direction relatively to the shaft, for example, using splined (10) or key connection or by means claw clutch, one part of it is connected with wheel, and another one - with shaft. During operation the large tooth-wheel (3) is self-installed relatively to the small tooth-wheel (2).
EFFECT: increased loading ability and durability of then gearbox operation, reduced requirements for accuracy of manufacturing and installation of the bearing supports, bearings, shafts and tooth-wheels.
