FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: gear transmission contains drive (1) and driven (2) cylindrical wheels, their teeth are made with arched longitudinal lines and evolvent end profiles. Side surfaces of teeth of the both wheels have work sides (3, 4), by means of their interaction the rotation movement is transferred, and non-work sides (5, 6). Non-work end profiles (7, 8) creating by crossing of the non-work sides with plane at right angle to axis G of the wheel rotation, have engagement angles αnp1 and αnp2, there values exceed values of engagement angle α of work end profiles (9, 10).
EFFECT: invention allows increasing of load-carrying capacity of durability of gear operation.
